Karen and Ken, Wedding, January 5, 2008

A new year and a wonderful first wedding of the year for us. Karen and Ken were so gracious and kind and, as you can see from the pictures, very much in love. We so enjoyed being there for these special pictures and wish Karen and Ken the very best.

Carson, 6 Months Old

A Becca Post:

It's Carson again! I had not seen Carson since his 3 month session back in November, so when I saw Carson on Friday, it was not hard to see that he had put on a little holiday weight! But that is a good thing when you're six months old. Carson is cuter than ever...but then I do have a thing for chubby babies...Ok, just babies in general. I just love them. We did this session at Carson's house which was really fun. So fun that I really couldn't narrow it down, and had to put together a slideshow of all my favorites.

So here is that slideshow,
and here are some that I loved:

Eliot, Grandson #3, Grandchild #5

He's here! We hurried to Louisville as soon as we could and there he was! Mom, Lizzie, and Dad, JPSr., are doing terrifically. Lizzie's Mom and Dad, Judy and Steve, beat us there and they came from Connecticut!

Photobucket

Isn't he something? Here is a SLIDESHOW WITH WAY TOO MANY PICTURES OF THE BOY.

I just love this little sequence. Eliot can open his mouth wider than any baby I have ever seen.

June & Scott, Engagement, January 12, 2008

This was a really, really fun session and since June and Scott are planning on exchanging their wedding vows at the Tivoli we started there.

Since it was a pretty cold day, running from one point to the next was a good idea, just to keep warm.

Shelly & Matt

Shelly and Matt met us at the Walnut Street Bridge on a chilly January afternoon. They are getting married in October, so we got an early start on getting to know them better. Part of the advantage of this is that Shelly can send out some early Save the Date Cards. Here is one example of a potential card for Shelly and Matt.

This will be a 5x7 size, and will not have our logo on it when it is printed. I love it!
Photobucket

Here's the backside. Again, it won't have a logo on it.

Terry and I had a good time with Shelly and Matt (who, by the way, drives Porsche's in those 24 hour races).

Samuel, 16 months old

From time to time on our blog we have featured Samuel's two older brothers, Jake & Caleb, and his adorable sister, Katelin. But now its Samuel's time to shine. He is a delightful boy and already you have the feeling that his whole family is delighted by him.

We just had to have a picture of him in his warm coat...too cute.

Michelle & Tim, January 5, 2008

One of the things I love most about my husband Keith is that he is so affectionate with me and is always making clear to me just how much he loves me. I say that because my first encounter with Dr. Talbert proved that he was that way to Michelle, and I just loved it! Tim was standing on the other side of the door where Michelle was putting on the final touches of her bridal attire, and he just went on and on about how much he loved her and couldn't wait to marry her. But the love he was professing was just so clear when they were together. He couldn't keep his eyes off of her and was telling everyone he saw that she was the most beautiful bride he'd ever seen! Needless to say, they are an endearing couple, and we thoroughly enjoyed capturing their big day.

Here is your slideshow,
and here are a few favorites.

The wedding was held at the Mayor's Mansion downtown. It was charming.

This picture has an "old Hollywood" feel to it. I love it.

Tim was constantly making Michelle laugh.

The ceremony.

See what I mean about the way he looks at her?

I loved this moment of the two of them alone during the reception.

Suzanne & Joe, December 29, 2007

Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church has a beautiful sanctuary and it was the location of Suzanne and Joe's wedding. Here the very beautiful Suzanne is pictured from where I am standing at the front of the church.

Photobucket

I just love these ring shots.

Photobucket

Suzanne's dad performed the ceremony and here he is praying for the new couple. This really touches my heart. I love when dads let their daughters know how special they are and especially on the wedding day.

Dave & Keren in Chicago

Dave and Keren are good friends of ours from Chicago! Dave and Keith have been friends for a long time, so getting to take their engagement pictures was incredibly fun. Dave is marrying this beautiful girl Keren in June, and we can't wait to photograph their wedding b/c we are so excited for them both.

Here is your slideshow,
and here are some favorites.

This little church courtyard on Michigan Avenue in Chicago is where Dave proposed to Keren. It was awesome (I'm talking about the courtyard, although I know the proposal was too!)

Photobucket

This one kinda makes me think "Dave and Keren, sittin' in a tree..."

Photobucket

Keren is so pretty.

Photobucket

The architecture in this courtyard is awesome.

I love this image we got when we went inside to let our frozen hands thaw out. This is actually the church filmed in "My Best Friends Wedding".

Photobucket

Back into the cold.

Photobucket

I just loved how Dave was putting her hair back. So sweet.
