Jenalee & John
A May 10th wedding at Laurelwood is the plan for Jenalee & John. We decided to meet them at Coolidge Park.
I really love this picture. They look so cute together.
John told us he had his eye on Jenalee when they were in high school but he waited for a while to ask her out. After high school they had a long distance relationship but it was John's trip to Alaska that convinced him that Jenalee was the one for him.
Jenalee and John were just a lot of fun to photograph.
Congratulations Jenalee and John!

Cade, 1 year old
Cade was a little unsure about me since this was his first visit. We took our time and played "toys" for a few minutes. The fact that our studio is in our home seems to give the children a comfort level that helps.
So here is a big smile! I love it! Look at those two "teefies!"
Don't worry. Mom Crystal and Dad Todd were close by ready to catch the very personable Cade!

Renee & John, Fairyland Club, Lookout Mountain, March 8, 2008
Wedding in a week! If you are not from Chattanooga how do you know which wedding vendors to call? So here is what Tatiana and Erica from 4 PM Events did... and they put together a fantastic wedding for Renee and John. Congratulations everyone for a job well done and best wishes to the newly weds!
Renee and John invited family and friends to join them at the beautiful Chanticleer Inn.
From there, the bridal party traveled by limousine provided by Bell Limousines to the very elegant Fairyland Club. As you can see, a lot of work was accomplished by Gil and Curt flowers, and the White Table.
Renee and John asked a good friend to perform the ceremony.
After the ceremony Renee and John were able to enjoy their families and friends while behind the scene the wedding cake by Dan "the Cake man" was readied, the sound system tested by Philip, and two bands, one country and the other jazz, tuned up.
Rick from The Meeting Company came through big time and provided a red carpet runway for a great experience.

Jessica's Friends
Our daughter Jessica is a middle school Spanish teacher. One of her colleagues, Marie Kesley was interested in having Jess do some photography. So here are the photographs of two beautiful little girls, Brooke and Macy, compliments of Jessica (maybe a new associate!)

Beth & Josh, February 23, 2008
Beth has been a friend of our family for 15 years and we have known and loved her family for a long time. So it is a joy for us to be her wedding photographers.
I just love this image of Beth. She is a beautiful young lady inside and outside.
On the day of the wedding, we learned very quickly that Josh is a major cut-up. However, he did cooperate at the right time for some classic, timeless, and priceless wedding portraits.
Before the ceremony I borrowed the rings from the best man and took this picture. This is always fun.
Stuart Heights Baptist has a beautiful sanctuary and the ceremony, though quickly done, was wonderful. Congratulations Beth and Josh!

Megan & Ryan, Engagement, March 10, 2008
On a beautiful pre-Spring day, we met Megan and Ryan at the Tennessee Aquarium with plans to do their engagement photographs.
We finished the session at the Chattanooga Pier where Ryan and Megan reenacted the proposal.
Megan told us that Ryan from time to time would drop to one knee and act like he was popping the question. So when he actually had the ring in his pocket, they went out to dinner at the Blue Plate Restaurant and then walked over to the end of the pier.
So here is how it looked.

Trenten, 9 months old
We love kids. Trenten lights up our day when he comes in with his mom and dad. Doesn't he look good in his white, button down shirt?
Don't you just love these big eyes?
The bath was an added bonus, Trenten!
Just a few more months and he will be walking on his own! Amazing how they grow and develop.
