Congratulations to the whole family for a remarkable birthday party.
I believe Rody was truly surprised and when it was his turn to lead the abbreviated Chattanooga Symphony/Dance Band in "Chattanooga Choo-choo" it brought the guests to a rousing standing "o". Great fun! I loved the congo, too!
A special thanks to Jenny Richter for giving us a call and a "great job" to the Sheraton Read House for a beautiful event.

Lee, High School Senior CCS 2009, High School Senior Photography by Liz Power Photography
Congratulations to Lee and his family. This is the second son for whom we have done senior pictures. Seems like we were just doing Thomas' senior pictures and now he is graduating from college! Amazing how fast time goes by... Anyway, it was great to spend time with Lee and we wish him the very best.

How do you keep up with Mary Margaret? She is a bundle of energy and is so delightful. And her facial expressions are priceless. What a doll. Click here and here and here to compare how she is growing up soooo fast.
Here are some favorites from the Coolidge Park adventure.
Her cousin, Davis, joined us.

Abby & Ryan, Engagement Photography by Liz Power Photography
This is Abby and Ryan whose wedding is coming up in June, 2009. I love the fact that I photographed Abby's sister's wedding in 2005. I am always honored when a family asks me photograph another daughter's wedding.
Lots of fun for our couple.
Another scenic view of the area. I love Chattanooga.
Congratulations!!!

Corinne & Neal, Wedding Photography by Liz Power Photography, Wedding at Baylor Chapel, Chattanooga, TN
To the Thomas and Erhard families, I would like to say, "well done!" By this I mean you all did a fantastic job of bringing up your children. We are so impressed with the Thomas' girls and the Erhard guys. Y'all did something right. Anyway, what a great day and beautiful wedding. I want to say more later so this blog post will probably be added to but for now...enjoy!

Anna & Wells - Engagement Photography by Liz Power Photography
Anna and Wells picked a beautiful, early fall afternoon for their engagement pictures. You all know how much I love doing these kinds of sessions. Not only does it give Terry and me an opportunity to get to know our couples better but it is just a lot of fun. And I love to have fun. Now, as you can see from the following favorites, Anna and Wells do too!
Congratulations and God Bless!

Kelly & Chris, Engagement Photography by Liz Power Photography
Kelly and Chris met us at one of our favorite locations, the Walnut Street Bridge.
This was the first time we were all able to spend some time together and it was great to get to know more about Kelly and Chris. We pretty much walked all over the area and we were even able to go under the bridge for some shoreline adventures along the Tennessee River.
Here are some favorites.
Congratulations to everyone and God Bless!

Brady, Mandy and Bill - Family Photography by Liz Power Photography
It was great to see Brady again. It had been quite awhile since we saw him. If you compare the two sessions you will see how much he's grown.
In our neighborhood we have this very scenic pond and autumn is a good time for family photos.
Here's that good-lookin' Brady.
Thank you, Bill and Mandy, for coming to see us. God Bless!

Shelly & Matt - Wedding Photography by Liz Power Photography, Chattanooga, TN
Shelly and Matt had a beautiful Saturday in October for their wedding day. Here are several glimpses into the memorable day's events.
First of all, where is the veil?
Matt jokingly wondering if his timing was right for abandoning his bachelorhood.
Ah, yes, the veil! And it looks like Matt's decision is solid. Bring on the preacher.
You go, Girl!
And then, after the ceremony, a stop at Miller Park for some special photographs.
Then it was over to the Tennessee River and some fun pictures with the bridal party.
Finally, following an outstanding reception at The Sheraton Read House, the newlyweds exit with lots of sparks and well wishes.
God Bless and congratulations!!!
