Grace Cannon at 7 Months, January 27, 2007

We got to see Grace this month and somehow she got even cuter since we last saw her (see here). She is sweet, bubbly, and expressive...and a delight to have in the studio! Can't wait till April when we get to see you all again!

The Amos Family, January 19th, 2007

The Amos family has been a favorite of ours for quite some time now. They have 3 wonderful children and are as sweet as can be. But they won't be 3 for long...their fourth is on the way! This was a maternity shoot and all 3 of the kids came along...so of course there was some fun and silliness involved.
Karen, you are in our thoughts and prayers as the day approaches! We are hoping you will be here in Chattanooga a bit longer so that we can take lots of pictures of that baby:)

Lisa and Dan Nausley, January 13, 2007, More Wedding Portraits

Lisa and Dan invited us back to their lovely Signal Mountain home to add to the wedding portraits we began October 9, 2006.





Lisa's son, Ryan, is seen here with his mom and in the background you can see an amazing painting of him.

Noah Garland, January 9th, 2007

Noah is 9 months old! It is so fun to see how he's grown! The boy can light up a room with his smile.

The Winn Family, January 20, 2007

This past Saturday we had the honor of getting to see our friends Brad and Luanne Winn. The occasion was Luanne's 8 month maternity pictures! This beautiful family of 3 is soon to be four! Their new baby girl will be here in February, and Kensley, their 2 year old pride-and-joy, will be a big sister. We can't wait to take pictures of that new baby.

It was a joy to get to see you all and Terry thoroughly enjoyed chatting with your father, Brad. You all are in our thoughts and prayers as the day approaches!

Caleb Cate, 3 months old, January 18, 2007

Here he is three months later!



Melissa and John Cate are dear friends and Liz has photographed Melissa when she was a bridesmaid in her cousin's, Joy Rawlings, wedding. Then she photographed Melissa's wedding, her first born (Jacob), second born (Sarah), and now her third born (Caleb James). This is a wonderful family and we are so proud to be their photographers.



Precious little feet held by his loving mom. He is a blessed little boy.

Samuel Little, January 9, 2007

Samuel Little entered the world on September 22, 2006 and what an addition he makes to the dynamic James and Cindy Little family.



The Littles have been such a joy to us and we are so happy for James, Cindy, Rebecca, Jake, Caleb, and Katelin and we know this little fellow will get lots of love.



And we should not forget the love of our all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-loving Heavenly Father who, no doubt, has this "Little" one in the apple of His eye.

Abby and Bubba Hardy, January 4, 2007

Yet again we have had the honor of getting to photograph a former bride as a soon-to-be mom! This is always a delight for us. As you can see, Abby is already one beautiful mom, and Bubba a proud dad! Hopefully soon we'll be able to continue the story with pictures of the newborn baby.

Aidan Patrick Swinney, January 2007

If you saw our blog post back in October, you would have laid eyes on the first formal pictures of Aidan Patrick Swinney. Baby Aidan was brand new back then (see here) and as you will see, he has grown in size and personality. The boy could not possibly be any cuter! His smile will make you smile (see slideshow here).

Brandy Helms and Martin Marquez, Engagement, December 28, 2006

Brandy and Martin have a May 12, 2007 wedding planned for the Grandview.

Coolidge Park in trendy North Chattanooga includes the famous handcrafted carousel so we all agreed this would be a great place to do the engagement pictures. In the background you can see the girders for the Walnut Street walking bridge. You can also see that these two are excited about their approaching wedding day.

Once we reached the river, Liz sent Brandy and Martin down the steps so that she could highlight the setting sun and the beauty of the Tennessee River.





We feel very privileged to enter into the lives of these two with our photography and hope everyone is blessed by this event.

The Rileys, December 26, 2006

Laura Riley made all the arrangements for her family to come for some long overdue family portraits.



Liz really enjoyed renewing her relationship with this family since she had photographed Laura several years ago.



Jonathan, a medical student, was a genuinely engaging young man and no doubt Earl and Sarah are proud parents of two exceptional young people.
