Hayden, 9 Months Old

Hayden is getting so big! We have been taking this guys pictures since he was a newborn...and we are sad that he will be moving away soon with his mommy and daddy. We're going to miss him!

Christina & Todd, Engagement session, May 9, 2008

These two are planning a destination wedding to Mexico! How fun is that? Anyway, they asked if we would meet them at the Tennessee Aquarium and do their engagement pictures. We really liked them a lot and they both have a great sense of humor.



We found out they are both engineers; one mechanical and the other electrical (sorry Christina, I couldn't remember who was who). Somehow this struck me as being a very interesting blending of two gifted and intelligent young people.



They were both really excited about their destination wedding and it sounded like all of the plans were coming together.

Laura & David, April 26, 2008 Wedding

Laura and David are two very special people. Their love for each other is very evident. But one of the things I noticed at the wedding was the love of their families. I noticed how their parents were so very proud of them and how thankful they were to share this wedding day with so many of their friends and family.

2nd Presbyterian in Chattanooga is an older historical building in the downtown area. The lighting was incredible. Having a gorgeous bride to photograph allowed us to capture some beautiful pictures.

The flowers were from Humphrey's Flowers and very stunning.





Laura and David decided the Walden Club was the ideal location for the reception. One it is walking distance from 2nd Presbyterian. Two, the food is excellent. But it is also one of the tallest buildings in Chattanooga and allows out-of-town guests to see our beautiful city.









After the reception we were able to spend some time at the old courthouse. I was so glad Laura and David wanted to continue taking pictures.



One final word about this young couple. They are the owners of an outstanding personal training business called Body Elite. Terry and I are both clients and we recommend them to everyone. Check out their testimonals here.

Sherry & Gerald, Engagement, May 7, 2008

When I met Sherry and Gerald for the first time, I really wanted to photograph their wedding. Sherry is beautiful inwardly and outwardly and I felt such a kindred spirit with her. Gerald is a genuinely kind and thoughtful person and we are excited about photographing their wedding this September. A special thank you to Lisa, a former bride, for referring Sherry to us.

When Terry had a chance to ask about football, he practically bombarded Gerald with questions. One question was "do people still recognize you?" Gerald said sometimes, but Sherry indicated that people recognize him all the time. Do you recognize him? Yes, he is the former Atlanta Falcons star running back. Click here for his career stats.

Just one more note about football. When Terry asked about his most memorable game Gerald said it was the Washington Redskins 1991 victory in the Super Bowl. Anyway, Sherry and Gerald are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and we had lots of fun doing these engagement pictures.

June and Scott, Tivoli Theater, Chattanooga, TN, Wedding, April 20, 2008

June and Scott had a beautiful ceremony at the historic Tivoli Theater.

Before going to the reception at the Sheraton Read House, we went to the old Chattanooga courthouse for some special pictures and this is one of my favorites.

Helen from Humphreys Flowers is a longtime friend and it is always a pleasure to work alongside her. We have continuously recommended Shane from Life Productions for videography. He is extremely gifted and very talented. And our good friend, Phillip, from Sound Force, continues to amaze us with his creativity and business expertise. I know Sibyl from The Sugar Shop made the deliciously beautiful cakes and we always enjoy hearing The Forte Strings play. I'm sorry I couldn't find a website to link for them.

Brittany & Tyler, The Grandview, Lookout Mountain, GA Wedding

Congratulations Brittany and Tyler! The wedding was absolutely beautiful. The vibrant colors and the charming atmosphere of Grandview created the perfect day. Keith and I both are happy for you guys and are so glad we got to be a part of your wedding!

Teela & Marc, Engagement session, May 2, 2008

We met Teela and Marc on the southside of the Walnut Street bridge. This is a really great area for engagement pictures and it seems we're always finding some new spots.



We have known Marc and his family for a long time so it was special for us to photograph the engagement pictures.
