Becca & Keith's Maternity Pictures

As many of you already know, our lovely daughter and excellent employee Becca is due to have a baby in 5 weeks! So of course we had to document this special occasion with pictures.

Here she is with Keith at her side, and Kate in her belly. We just love our son-in-law and are so excited for the start of their new family. Keith is going to make as wonderful a dad as he is a husband to Becca. And we have a feeling Kate will be one adorable little baby (But then we are a little biased).

"Pardon me, boys, is that the Chattanooga Choo-choo?" World-wide it is probably the one song that distinguishes and characterizes a city like no other. Yes, we started the engagement session at the famous Chattanooga Choo-Choo!





It is early September and the flower gardens are in full bloom and I believe so is this Melissa and Don romance! They are really an outstanding couple and really, really fun to be with.

Sharon & Garth, Wedding at 2nd Presbyterian Church and Reception at the Sheraton Read House

The wedding took place at the historic and beautiful 2nd Presbyterian Church.



I really love silhouettes and the architecture at this church is spectacular.



Here is the very lovely Sharon.



I love the ring shots, too!



It was just a short walk from the church to the Sheraton Read House for the reception. That's the Tallen Building in the background.



The Read House is a wonderful, historic Chattanooga treasure. The lobby area is so beautiful and the red sofa adds some romance to the scene.

Now this is the story I have been waiting to tell. Virginia Military Institute is the groom's alma mater. Here are some of his classmates holding up the bride. That's Sharon's dad standing on the left. He, too, is a VMI graduate. So, for Garth to meet Sharon in the first place VMI is the connection. Sharon spotted a lady on the UTC campus in a VMI sweatshirt. It was Garth's mom. Sharon said, "My Dad graduated from VMI." Garth's mom went home and told her son, there is this girl he really needed to meet. And the rest of the story you see here in these pictures.

Garyn

It's hard to believe, but Garyn is over a year old now! He is getting so big and is of course still so sweet and playful. I just adore him and I'm sad that his baby plan pictures are over. Luckily I'll still get to see him since his mommy and daddy are good friends of mine.

Erin & Nick, Liz Power Photography, Engagement session, August 24, 2008

Erin and Nick are planning a June 20, 2009 wedding at 1st Centenary UMC and reception at the remarkable Mountain City Club in downtown Chattanooga, TN.



Nick commented that he and Erin were classmates and lab partners at optometry school. He obviously had his eye on her and their friendship grew.





We had a great time getting to know Erin and Nick.
