Tara and Chip are bride and groom from December 2005 and we were thrilled to see them and their baby girl.



Claudia was sleepytime when she got here but soon decided to wake up and see what was happening.

Ivey & Tom, Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Wedding

Congratulations Ivey & Tom! Keith and I are so happy we got to be a part of your day. Everything about it was charming and beautiful (except maybe that early June heat wave!). The reception at your parents home was just enchanting. We really loved everything about the day and were excited about the settings because it led to some beautiful picture opportunities. You guys are so easy to work with because you have such warm and welcoming hearts. We are both happy for you as you begin your lives together.

Ivey's Bridal Portrait

I just wanted to post a few pics from a beautiful bridal session that Jessica and I photographed together at Lookout Presbyterian Church. We did this the week of Ivey's wedding and since it was at the same location as the wedding, I thought I would post these because they flow so well with the following post of the actual wedding!

*Note: Jessica didn't get to help me and Keith with the wedding, but did such a good job with this, even though she is just starting out!

Congratulations Kate and BJ! You guys are just one precious couple and we are so excited that you are now married. The whole event at The Gordon Lee Mansion and Cove Methodist Church was just beautiful and we are so glad we got to be a part of it.

Jen & Derek's Chicago Wedding

Congratulations Derek and Jen! We are so excited for you guys and are so glad that we not only got to photograph your wedding, but Keith of course was so honored to get to be in your wedding! It was a wonderful day and we are so happy for you both.

This cake topper is in NO WAY truly representative of Derek and Jen's relationship...but Derek is a huge Chicago Bears fan, thus the groom is clinging to Bears paraphernalia.

Amy & Joe, Wedding, May 24, 2008, The Grandview

Amy & Joe's story was retold at the wedding reception by their good friends, and it is a wonderful love story, but the thing that blessed my heart was their desire to worship the Lord. The lyrics to Chris Tomlin's "How Great is Our God" go like this:

"The splendor of a King,
Clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice,
All the earth rejoice

And darkness tries to hide

Now imagine standing to sing this song with all of the guests accompanied by an outstanding praise band and you are on the edge of Lookout Mountain on the patio of The Grandview! It was an awesome, incredible experience!
