Sarah and Jacob Cate, Sister and Brother, July 10, 2006

Sarah came to the studio with her family for some special pictures of her with her daddy, John. Melissa, her mom, wanted some photos of Sarah dancing on her daddy's feet.



Of course we also took some pictures of Sarah with her mom and her brother, Jacob.



Liz photographed John and Melissa's wedding several years ago and it has been a joy to see and photograph their beautiful children.

Heather and Matt Henson, Gordon Lee Mansion Wedding, Chickamauga, GA, June 24, 2006

The Gordon-Lee Mansion in Chickamauga, GA is one of the premier wedding locations in our area. They do a fantastic job of serving the bride and groom and when it started to rain, plan B went into effect.



How do you move over 200 guests to an alternate location at the last minute? Anyway, it all came together very nicely and the very beautiful Heather Irwin exchanged vows with her handsome groom,Matt Henson, at Cove Methodist Church.





The guests handled everything well and enjoyed the rest of the evening dancing the night away. It was lots of fun. CLICK HERE FOR THE SLIDESHOW.

McKinley, July 20, 2006

Four-year-old McKinley and her mom, Hannah, met us downtown at the old courthouse to do some special pictures commemorating McKinley's birthday.





Next door to the courthouse is a beautifully maintained garden, available to Unum Provident employees. We thought McKinley would enjoy that setting and she did. Then we went back to the Hamilton County Courthouse building and used the gigantic bubble maker which McKinley really liked.



Overall we had a really fun time.

CPPG Photo Safari, July 24, 2006

Liz and Diana Simpson, our oldest daughter, took advantage of the local photography guild's photo safari. David Smith is one our guild's most talented photographers and it was great to learn from him about shooting in all kinds of lighting conditions.

While shooting, at really low light, i. e. almost dark, we captured these three young ladies who were having fun at the aquarium and we promised them we would post their pictures here.

Walt and Gray Beach, Brothers, July 11, 2006

Kristi and Robert Beach became our friends several years ago when we photographed their wedding. Since then we have loved photographing Gray and now Walt.

Karen and Cale Whitworth, Wedding, June 24, 2006

The beautiful music at Karen and Cale's wedding was exceptional and we have been really blessed to hear some inspiring music this summer. This was some of the best. Karen and Cale are such a great couple.



We were so privileged to be able to photograph such a special time in their lives.

Farrah and Tanner, Engagement Pictures, July 14, 2006

Farrah and Tanner are planning a September 16th wedding at the Grandview on Lookout Mountain. We were glad to spend this time with them. They are a beautiful couple and fun to be around.
